Morever, It symbolizes praises to God for the rescuing from big disaster and granting of abundance .

According to Muslim Belief, Prophet Noah's people were cursed because of their rebellions to God and to Noah. Noah and his supporters got on ship. Rest of the world has been destroyed by the order of God. Only, Noah and his supporters were rescued. After the big disaster, Noah's ark landed on Agrı (Ararat) mountain. People made asure to celebrate the end of the disaster and offer thanks to God . But , there were only grains, dried fruits at the ship. So they made asure with these ingredients. After that, Asure became a symbol of Asure day .

However, in Turkey, you can find aşure in pastry shops throughout the year.
